Okay here is Bangkok Day 2, been very efficient yea! Still have some backlogs so I want to finish it up!
Started the day early around 9am (10am Sg time) and we had to take a cab to our breakfast destination cause it's pretty inaccessible. Insert pretty building here, I wish the trees wasn't there though haha.
The taxi uncle who picked us up did not know a single bit of English, he even dropped us midway insisting that Chinatown is just ahead although we know it's still a long walk away. But eventually we alighted because there is no way we can communicate with him, we rather rely on ourselves!
We ended up walking for close to 30 minutes under the hot sun before we found our breakfast place! Imagine how hungry and tired we were!

The place is really traditional and looks like it might be Sg in the 70s or early 80s? We were the only tourists there as well too. And I see MILO! I thought we only have MILO in Sg? Looks like I might be wrong!
Nothing fanciful but truly local :)
We gobbled everything up in no time. The white bread with the kaya dip was really nice!! The rest seems to be slightly on the oily side though. I like that they give a complimentary drink after the meal to wash it all down :)
After breakfast, it was close to lunch already lol. We explored Chinatown for abit since I have not been there, bought some floss back as well!

They have different grades but we just chose the lowest grade (3rd class) since only 吃爽的. Haha. Only 200b ($8!) each
We ordered white bird nest and red bird nest. Both are decent but I recall one is slightly sweeter than the other. Cant remember which now :(
Thereafter, we took a cab back to CentralWorld to shop in Melissa and Naraya! We don't coordinate our outfits but somehow the boy will always choose to wear the same colour as me. This happened countless times!
Did not get the chance to do much shopping in Melissa but I did get some pouches from Naraya so I was quite satisfied. Hehe. Then we went across to Big C Supercenter to shop in their supermarket!
Tom yum flavoured pretz which I bought many back! Really got tom yum taste!
Headed back to Platinum Mall for lunch thereafter and this noodle soup is really spicy omg! Was almost in tears midway into the dish and had to swop with the boy haha.
$2 only!
Mango sticky rice which deserves many many thumbs up
Left our stuff at the hotel and rested for awhile before heading out to Paul Fashion for Dearie to tailor make his shirts!

We were too stuffed so we ordered the mini size but it proven itself to be too good so we went back again the following days to have the regular size lol.

Inserting random hair mist which I bought to try since Dearie's friend is raving about this product! I need to agree it really softens the hair up and making it less frizzy!
Day 2 combined buys. Not a lot right! Mostly tee shirts cause my old ones are wearing out!
Okay I'm off to pick the boy from the airport now! It's finally Friday!! Cannot wait to see him already! :D
