♥ Honeymoon Destinations ♥

We finally bought tickets for our honeymoon! It will be happening almost immediately after our wedding banquet on 23 Sept 2017. (Isit cannot wait alrdy lol)

Super duper looking forward to it despite the long flight hours.

We will be travelling to Western Europe, specifically United Kingdom and France!

Our 16 days trip will look something like this
7 days in Edinburgh, Scotland > 7 days in London, England > 3 days in Paris, France

Just looking at the flight confirmation details is making me squeal in excitement all over again haha.
First time flying with Emirates and I heard great things about them. Hope they will serve us well :D

Absolutely looking forward to all the pretty castles and sceneries which Edinburgh has to offer.

Of course to see the Big Ben with my own eyes in London

and also to the magical Eiffel Tower in Paris!

I have heard that Paris is way dirty and not as romantic as the rest of the world thinks so Im just going to go there and check this famous landmark off my bucket list haha.

Hope the weather god will do us a huge favour and gift us with great weather when we are there cause Scotland and England can be pretty unpredictable and mostly gloomy boo.

And now, can't believe its 4 more months to our wedding and honeymoon! :D

Tokyo, Japan 2017!

Hello! It's been a long hiatus but I'm here yet again!

Cause we are going to Japan in May! It is rather impromptu as we are itching for another trip, and I'm still keen to go even if it means removing Switzerland from one of our honeymoon destination. We will be going to Tokyo for a full 6d5n trip but we are so hyped for it as our last overseas trip was to Taiwan in Aug last year.

It's a pity we will miss the cherry blossom season but still looking forward to the culture, food and shopping!

For now, let's hope I will be able to keep my blog updated on the happenings for the past 3 months!

And I can't believe we are approx 6 months away to the Big Day holy moly!

Taiwan, Again!

Oh my god this travel bug addiction is getting real man. Met up with the bestie for dinner 2 days back and she was telling me the tickets to Taiwan is really cheap and ask if we would like to go for a couple trip together in August during her birthday week.

So naturally I was sitting on the fence because we have only been back to Sg for a month and flying off again in 2 months time is like abit too fast and damaging to the wallet?! Haha. But then half of me was like "Yes yes!" cause we have never go on a trip together and we always talk about how we should go but it just never materialise haha.

And she was saying how its only $250 flying by Jetstar and I was like wa really good deal! Cos I paid $500/pax the first time I flew with them to Tw, which was double of the price. But of course I don't believe that it could be that cheap and she started mock booking the tickets with her phone in front of me. LOL. Never see this girl so on the ball before. So, I asked the boy if he's keen because I thought he would be saying stuff like his account haven recover from Aussie yet and we are leaving again.. but surprisingly he don't mind going!. But of course subject to his boss approval.

Anyway, he checked with his boss yesterday and its approved! We immediately bought the tickets and yes, our first couple trip is happening in less than 2 months cause we will be flying on National Day! It's gonna be a short 5d4n trip so we are just sticking in Taipei but I know it will definitely be awesome! This trip is so super imprompu, spontaneous and YOLO! I quite like our spontaneity but better don't happen too often cause the bank account wont be able to take it haha.

Cant wait to take pretty photos and eat all the street food of Taiwan! The photos from our first time there was rather poor due to the camera quality so I'm quite excited to take better photos this time! Don't mind doing the touristy places all over again too cause its been 4 yrs since our last time there.

So meanwhile I shall aim to complete my Aussie travelogues before Taiwan happens!

And pray that the weather will be good to us then because I googled and August happens to be the hottest month in Taiwan and it might be even hotter than Sg. Just cross fingers it wont be thattt hot~

#2016DownUnder // AUSTRALIA //

So it's two more sleeps till Australia! Our first trip of 2016!

Few days more to seeing the iconic Sydney opera house and the harbour bridge in real life and hopefully in close proximity!

And all these colourful bathing boxes in Melbourne!

AND SO MUCH MORE.

I'm just feeling extremely extremely excited!

There's a lot of firsts for this trip! It is our first time going for a long holiday with just the 2 of us! (It's going to be a 11d10n trip). And it is our first time travelling to a country out of Asia. It is also dearest's childhood dream to visit Australia so I'm really happy that I'm the one accompanying him to fulfill this dream of his!

The boy is so excited he even created a hashtag #2016downunder lol. But I told him it's too common haha.

Let's hope this trip will be amazing!!

Back to Bangkok

Can I just say I'm super thrilled right now?!?!

That's because we just booked our flight to Bangkok this June! Cant believe that we are barely back in Sg for a month and we already got our tickets booked for our next outbound flight. Heh. Travel can indeed become an addiction.
We are gonna be flying by SQ cause someone pampered already lah now just wanna fly full fledged carrier. But $300 sounds like a pretty good deal ya? It's just $50 more than flying by Jetstar so should be quite worth it? Trying to convince myself that nothing is more important than a safe and sturdy flight :)

Whee!! 2nd time there but still extremely looking forward. We are hoping to cover Chatuchak, Chocolate Ville and several recommended restaurants which we missed on our previous trip so I guess there will be alot of eating! Shall see if there is room for sightseeing else we will just go with the flow and be more relaxing in our pace. The boy has been emphasizing no more jam-packed itinerary plse so okay, feedback taken into account! ;)

Just the thought of tom yum goong, phad thai, green curry and all the other yummylicious food in Bangkok is making me salivate!! How I wish June is around the corner already but I know time is gonna pass by real fast! :D

This trip will most likely be the last trip for us until the boy is more comfortable with his finances since he got to repay his student loan, so I guess meanwhile we shall just SAVE ALL THE $$!! The boy commented that at the rate we are travelling, he will never have enough savings to buy an engagement ring for me heh. Okay point taken.

Anyway shall not think too far and look forward to enjoy this trip to the fullest!

Seoul ✈ Jeju, Korea Day 1 // Start of our 10 days adventure! //

First weekend of 2015 and here I am missing the cooling weather and the times spent in Korea in Dec last year so I'm going to start penning down my travelogue from this trip! I love to document all my travels so that I can look back and reminisce them whenever I feel like it. So here goes :)

We got our tickets from SQ at $1k/pax which is super duper expensive la! So a gentle reminder to myself to buy tickets like 8 months in advance to get the usual promo price!

Reached the airport on Tuesday night for dinner before we board the plane! Took some shots together excitedly. Wee pre-flight euphoria!

Flight OOTD ;) Super love pairing skirts with boots :D

It was the Christmas season so there were lots of pretty displays!

Checked in our luggages and here we gooo!!! All thanks to Dearie that we get to travel again as it was his Graduation Trip! Flying SQ again! Supporting local airlines :)

Mickey & Minnie everywhere so of course we had to take photos!!

Awaiting for boarding!

Took a quick photo before takeoff and we were on our way to kimchi land!

Entertained myself with some movies before I doze off into a 2-3 hours nap and then it's breakfast time at 4am in the morning! Seriously the earliest breakfast I ever had! Airplane food is my loveee! :)

Reached Incheon International Airport after a 6hr 30 mins flight and off we went to collect our Wifi egg from the Arrival Hall, purchase our T money pass from the convenience store (GS25) and top up the values to take the train to Seoul!

Mandatory shot with the signages in the station heh ;)

Also mandatory to grab a few bottles of the highly raved banana milk, and it is quite worth the rave really!

Had a really quick and simple lunch at an eatery just beside our hotel after leaving our luggage at the hotel concierge cause we need to catch another flight to Jeju thereafter! In case you are wondering, it's curry chicken rice, quite yummy despite how unappealing it looks haha and it's only $5!

After another hour train ride from Seoul city, we finally arrived at Gimpo International Airport to board our flight to Jeju! Flying by Jeju Air which is a budget carrier.

It took an hour to fly to Jeju so we went to collect our rented car after arriving! And we drove to our hotel thereafter! Many claps to the boy for driving us around Jeju during our stay!

It was around 5pm when we finally reached and checked in to our hotel. All of us were so dead beat by then. zZz. Midnight flight is really not good for the soul..

Pretty ornaments hanging in the hotel room

Cosy stay for the next 2 nights! Relatively small room but we are fine with it since it only cost us $50 for 2 nights? Haha!

Really cute toilet bowl cover!

After resting for abit, we headed out for dinner! Wrapped up in 4 layers and all ready to brave the cold at 0 degrees!

OOTD hehe and that's pretty much how we look like in all other photos from here on, except for our accessories. LOL! Downside of travelling to a winter country cause people can't really tell what are you wearing inside haha!

Chanced upon a cosy place for dinner and we had chicken galbi and boiled chicken soup! Really yummy!

It's a whole baby chicken in there O.O

After settling our hungry tummies, Dearie and I explored around our hotel area. Night in jeju is so scarce with people, I guess everybody is hibernating at home!

Headed back to our hotel shortly after to rest for the night cause the following day is gonna be a long day as we head to several attractions!

K O R E A

"The only way to survive a post holiday withdrawal syndrome is to plan for the next trip"

Totally agree with the above quote! How apt this one! And it's been decided! Korea next! In December! And it's the boy's grad trip!

So very excited I cannot maintain!!!

And it's confirmed!

We are gonna have a very white Christmas this year! First overseas Christmas spent in our years together!! So very looking forward!

Let the countdown begin!! :D

We Are Going to Bali! :D

So so happy!

Next Holiday Destination : BALI!!!

Actually Dearie did not want us to travel until his grad trip end of this year. Until one fine day when he asked me "Bb $500 can go where? Shall we go somewhere nearby during my vacation in May?" My eyes and ears totally shot up when I heard this question! I was super elated lah! Lots of places came into my mind there and then. Phuket, Penang, Ho Chi Minh, Batam, Bintan, Bali. And after much consideration, we are left with either Phuket or Bali!

No prizes for guessing where we chose in the end. Hehe. Flight is settled and its so cheap! $150 return but its super fuss free. No inflight food nor checked in baggage. We decided to pack light so we thought 10kg carry on baggage should be enough. Hehe! Still deciding on hotel/villa though. Hope to get it striked off the list by this week so I can focus on doing up the itinerary!

Still a month plus away but I cant wait already!! :DD

1st beach holiday together! Cannot wait to frolick in the pool, go for white water rafting, eat authentic balinese cuisine, and watching the gorgeous sunset together. ♥

Beaming with excitement as I am typing all this out. Hehe!

B for Bangkok

Blogging at the airport now while Dearie is doing his business.
Our flight at 7am today was cancelled and we were forced to choose the next earliest available flight out of Sg, which will be at 11.20am.
It might be due to loads of flight cancellations which resulted in this boo..
And!
To make things worse, we are coming back earlier than what we want! What a bummer!!
A good 4d3n trip turns out to be a nerve wrecking one. :(
I hope the trip will still be a good one though, even if it means squeezing each day to the maximum!
Signing off now to do some duty free shopping!
Have a great week ahead peeps!

Let there be peace

Just watched the news and seems like protests and tensions are currently ongoing in Bangkok, just when Dearie and I are about to go there for a holiday. Boo.. :(( Certainly hope it will go away within this week so we can have a safe and pleasant trip without thinking too much and freaking ourselves too often!

Photo grabbed from google image. Okay it really does look scary enough ><

Crossing my fingers and toes really tight!

IM BACK!

HELLO PEOPLE!

I'm back after a week spent in Taiwan with Dearie, which was totally needed for the both of us. Heh!

Certainly very pleased at how the whole vacation turned out. If you don't know, it's our first time travelling together in a plane, away from our family for a week which is the longest that we have got to so far. Heh! Really like how we spent each day so fulfilling and fruitfully, being alot more brave in exploring as well. Definitely not the last trip together woohoo!

Having post holiday syndromes now hence gotten an extra day of leave today. Though I'm totally rejuvenated and recharged, but still dreading work. Urgh.

Am already missing Taiwan already and hope to go back exploring out of Taipei the next time we are there!

I will be sorting through the thousands of photos (YES THAT MUCH :/) that we took while we were there and try my best to blog it all up!

More travelogue entries up soon! :D
