Random Happenings

Shall put up an entry of all the random stuffs and food I've had recently!

These were dinner at Miam Miam with the bestie few weeks ago!

Their pasta was good!

Not so much about the toast though. Defnitely looks better than it tastes.

Dearie and I also assembled Minnie and Mickey nano blocks which we got from our recent trip to Bangkok!

Definitely not easy man. We almost went cock-eyed counting the number of blocks at each and every layer.

But finally, our hardwork paid off! :D So damn cute they are gonna have a place in our future house! :D

Also treated Dearie to dinner at Sun with Moon after getting my bonus this year, was slightly better than last year hehe.

Hands down my favourite item in their menu. Contains salmon, eels, scallops and the likes. Super crunchy and satisfying at every bite!

Forgot the name of this place which we spent a bomb on their Japanese food. It's really quality > quantity

During the durian season when we headed to Geylang for some good durian! Our first time just sitting at the stalls gobbling durians haha. Epic.

My 3rd time doing the General Election duty and not complaining about it one bit. Definitely honoured to be able to do my part!

Had a great time cycling along ECP few weeks back when the haze wasn't here yet. The good times! Haze plse go away!

Cui face. Donno how the boy managed to look so fresh all the time rahh..

And the pretty sky that greeted us after sunset that day. Nature is indeed captivating, if only we slow down our pace and smell the roses as we go along with our lives.

One more of the pretty sky, it definitely does not look like it is taken in Sg! #nofilter

Brunch @ Fresh Fruits Lab

Whoa so the boy popped the question on our 8th anniversary and I can't wait to document everything down. But first let me get all my backlogs out of the way!

Some snippets of brunch at Fresh Fruits Lab about 2 months ago?

Finally a brunch place in the east and they got a great concept infusing fruits in their dishes!

I like the cosy interior as well! It makes us wanna hang out there all day long.

Dearie's big breakfast which is really huge, and look at the fruit salad by the side. The bacon was wrapped with pineapple underneath so it sort of balances the saltiness of the bacon. The sweet potato wedges were yums too!

I had their caviar pasta with half shell scallop topped with fresh quail eggs and caviar masago, which was equally good.

Orange and apple juice at the end of the meal!

We will definitely go back to try some of the other items in the menu! :)

Bangkok Foodie Trip Day 3

It's our 8th Anniversary today and both of us took leave to spend the day together! We are going for brunch, movie then dinner! Seems like any typical dating day but we are boring like that lol. At least we are venturing out to the West of Singapore lol.

Anyway I have some time before meeting the boy so I thought I can catch up on my blog.

Day 3 of Bkk trip goes like this!

Still one of my favourite romper hehe.

Waffles that were so yummy!

Wefie before boarding the train to get our brunch fix!

At CHU CHOCOLATE BAR & CAFE located at Sukhumvit!

Pretty quotes on the wall~

My dose of tea

And eggs ben finally!

Dearie's coffee

His disappointing breakfast :( Everything looks and tastes kinda oily :/

Then we went back to Platinum Mall for some shopping and grabbed a quick lunch thereafter in the food court.

Red ruby which was damn shiok to have in the weather

And Dearie finally managed to persuade me to try foot massage and oh my it's so damn shiok. Definitely not as painful and ticklish as I thought haha. And it's so cheap! $10 for 60 mins of shiokness.

Heading to dinner

SOUL FOOD MAHANAKORN

Southern Thai Samosa with Chicken, with yoghurt dip by the side. Interesting and surprisingly yummy!

Green peppercorn curry with pork cheeks which was the bombs!

Stir fried morning glory

Dinner was awesome and off we went to Sukhumvit Soi 38 Food Street but sadly it was not what we imagined.

The stalls were pretty unhygenic with flies hovering around and some even landed in the dessert bowl omg.

But we went for this! Mango sticky rice which was much raved!

An entire mango with warm glutinous rice. It was worth the money! About $6?

 Supper !

Dearie's favourite grilled squid. Hehe.

Happy boy is happy lol.
