Seoul, Korea Day 10 // Thanks for the AWESOME memories KOREA! //

Since it was our last day in Seoul, we started off our day in a relaxing manner, with breakfast at Paris Baguette Cafe! Such varied selections that we were too spoilt for choice! How can we resist when they are freshly out of the oven?

Narrowed down to these 4 eventually haha.

And some hot chocolate! Hot beverages are heaven in winter.

After breakfast, we went back to our hotel to pack our stuffs and checked out! Then, we headed off to SMTown Studio. SM must be making lots of money to have their own studio!

This is too crazy for words. The entire wall are laden with photos of KPOP artistes!

It was a nice gallery and thankfully not too crowded so we can slowly admire the photos, but most of the time I don't know who I'm looking at, so I need to keep pestering the boy to enlighten me haha. Is it me or do they really look similar?

They have a store too but what the shit we need to queue for a Q no. before we are allowed admittance. O.O Tooo exclusive as always.. So we just took photos and left.

They have a cafe too?

Ice creams coated with names of KPOP groups which cost 6000W. $7 for an ice cream?! Thanks but no thanks haha.

Thereafter, we left in search for lunch and chance upon this mini eatery that sells ramen so we just went in.

Their menu are all in Korean so luckily Im able to read them off in my very basic grasp of the characters. Phew. I look so tired here cause I was starting to feel unwell and developing a flu.

CUI is the word.

The boy looking as fresh as ever.

After lunch, we roam around and Dearie was so happy to find this particular grape juice he's searching for so he quickly got me to snap a photo of him with the can lol. Major cute ah.

I've lost track of the countless cosmetic shops I have seen in Seoul. They are E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E

Then we stopped by Gangnam! I guessed Gangnam has alot of clinics offering plastic surgery services because we saw a lot of before/after posters the moment we alight from the train it was quite cool actually, how something so controversial in Singapore can be so common in Seoul.

And we saw this. LOL.

We left Gangnam straight after taking the photos cause there's really nothing much there? So we head to our favourite Myeongdong haha.

How can we miss the authentic Dak Galbi at Yoogane!

Portion was so much bigger than in Sg and price is slightly lower too. YUMS.

We walked around Myeongdong for awhile after dinner and did some last minute shopping before we head back to the hotel to retrieve our luggages and head to the airport.

A peek of the Seoul Tower at night while we were on our way to the airport!

Reached the airport at about 9pm+ to catch our midnight flight.

So many bags.

Then it's time for home :)

Even the plane is so nicely decorated with holly! Fitting the xmas mood very well :D

Maggie mee and movie selection to last through the flight, and some naps in between too.

Landed home in the wee morning at 6am and I find myself thanking the gods for another safe flight home :)

We chalked up a certain amount buying DFS stuff so we paid additional $5 to get this Mickey Mouse! How cute!

And how can we forget about getting another set of magnets to our collection :)

Seoul was so much fun. It was our first time travelling further away from home, into a total foreign country which speaks a foreign language.

This is also the most expensive trip which we went for so far, almost spending 3k (1k for air tics, 1k for accomodation and another for trip spendings!) for everything but its all worth it for the experience, and money can always be earned back!

I love Korea for its food, not so for the people because they can be quite forward and rude at times. But apart from that, the country itself is pretty tourist friendly so we did not have much trouble finding our ways around during our 10 days stay.

It is also our first winter trip together and the experience is really quite overwhelming with the super chilly temperatures but it is something which we can never experience in Singapore so I'm thankful for the opportunity! This trip definitely adds on to the bountiful memories we shared together and I hope we will continue to create such milestones together :)

This is a country I will miss dearly so I hope I will go back someday, just perhaps not during winter hehe.

But for now, let me look forward and spread my wings to travel to more countries because like what people always say, travelling is the only thing that makes you richer.
