Wow it's been awhile since I last updated about Seoul and finally I have some time on my hands to do some quick updates today!
Our trip was at the final final leg on the 9th day in Korea and it was Christmas Day! First time spending Christmas overseas and we realised that Koreans don't really celebrate Christmas? It seems to be more popular among young couples.
Started off the day with a mirror selfie as usual. I miss those days of plying on the layers, coat and winter accessories. We usually spend about 10 mins just to get ready in keeping ourselves warm. I'm definitely missing the feeling and wondering when can I put those winter clothes back on again?
We went to Namdemun Market that morning which was a short 10 minutes walk away to get some local trickets for our families and friends back home.
There were everything from local food, apparels and souveniors so we spent some time looking around and getting stuffs.
So many winter shoes but seriously its such a chore trying them on in that kind of weather. I din get any of course. 一双毛鞋创韩国. haha.
After getting our stuffs and leaving them in the hotel, we headed to Egg & Spoon Race for brunch near Edae. It has become a habit to search for local brunch cafes whenever we are in a foreign land now.
The cafe is pretty small and cosy and there is only about less than 10 tables inside so we were lucky to get a seat.
We had risotto, toasts, scrambled eggs and the likes. Everything was yummy and filling for the tummy and we enjoyed the meal :)
Then we headed to Ehwa Womans University just to tour around. It's pretty wierd to visit a school on a holiday and now I look back and laugh at myself for even putting this in the itinerary lol.
But the school is pretty huge I must say. It must be quite a pretty sight in Spring when the cherry blossoms are out? But nonetheless, botak trees give off another vibe too haha.
