Day 4 of Seoul was a really long day so I will be splitting into 2 parts again. Too many photos to upload here hehe.
Always start the day off with a selfie :) The boy wearing his shoes heh.
And then a wefie :)
More than one wefie haha
Headed down to Myeongdong for breakfast at the highly raved Isaac Toast! This photo was taken after we were done with breakfast so the morning crowd was gone.
But this was taken in the morning when we were queuing up. Long queue but it moves really fast! Those ajummas got quick hands!
After getting our sandwiches, we headed to Ediya Coffee next door for our morning cuppa!
Breakfast; a warm cup of hot cocoa and warm sandwiches. Definitely filling! The toast was super yummy we had it for at least 3-4 more times for the rest of the trip! I wonder how they make something ordinary taste so good that make me keep going back for it!
Omelette, cheese, cabbages and a chicken patty sandwiched between two toasts = NOMS!
Thereafter, we headed down to Gyeongbokgung Palace!
It snowed the night before so this pretty sight greeted us at the entrance of the palace! So pretty covered in white!
Super happy to see snowww! And stepped on it!
Sun was super glaring at 10am though!
How pretty you tell me?
Small eyes say hello :)
Really need to train my photographer to ensure that I look decent enough for a shoot. Why never tell me my scarf is almost sweeping the snow ha?! Zzz. No eye for details meh. But credits goes to him nonetheless heh.
Selfie!
A shot together! The boy always forget to smile whenever he's the one holding onto the camera haha cannot multi task for nuts.
Just a few minutes after we arrived, they are doing the Changing Guards Ceremony! It always take place every hour on the dot at 10am, 11am, 12pm and so on!
So many people crowding around!
I can barely see the ceremony la too short :x so only can admire from the photos Dearie took ya.
Used to be able to stand beside the guards for a photo but they are preventing us from doing it now. So this is our best shot we can get. :(
Got our tickets to explore the palace! HUGE is an understatement really. I'm pretty sure we did not covered all parts of the palace itself.
We made snow balls!
Jump shots on a snowy pasture!
And a solo OOTD?
Natural sunlight at its best :) Took photos anywhere and everywhere hehe.
The insides of one of the palace. Really gigantic.
More photos. Pardon us hehe.
And finally we are headed for lunch!!
Queuing up at a super popular restaurant that is famous for their ginseng chicken soup - Tosokchon!
Lots of wefies as we were queuing up
Queuing outside at -10 degree is really not funny. Thank god for the sun~
This is how long the queue stretches out! Can't even fit the entire queue into the frame cause we are not even in it! I think we queued for around 30-45 minutes before we were seated?
Finally seated!
Ordered 1 each cause sharing is not allowed. And this cost about $18 without the ginseng strips and $25 with it. Expensive but worth the try!
Shall end this entry with the boy savouring his ginseng chicken! The meat was really tender and flavourful. Well stuffed with glutinous rice, red dates and all the good stuff in the chicken! Really super shiok to have it in winter! Instantly warms the body up hehe.
Alright gonna head to bed now! I'm almost done updating close to half of my trip so shall persevere on!
