Hello All!
Can't believe Christmas is over already! Means it will be back to work tomorrow! Nonetheless, really happy cause it's gonna another 2 working days before the weekend comes by!

Here to continue Day 2 of my Bangkok travelogue!
As Bangkok is an hour behind Sg, we find ourselves waking up slightly later. For instance, waking up at 9am Bangkok time when it's 10am Sg time. Super shiok LOL. There is no need to wake up early too since shops usually open at 11am Bkk time.
That morning, I secretly took a photo of Dearie when he's asleep. I find it very amusing when I'm always the one struggling to wake up in Sg but very enthusiastic about waking up early during overseas whereas the boy's the other way round. LOL.
View from our room. Morning Bangkok!
Headed for breakfast at this highly raved wanton mee place! It's just a street beside our hotel! Super convenient we love! Too bad we only went once!
They serve yummy pork trotters too!!
A closer shot of this plate of goodness.
Streets of Bangkok!
Touristy shot at the nearby BTS station!
Trains in Bangkok stop in the middle of the platform so remember not to go too front/far back of the platform when waiting for trains!
Headed to Siam Paragon and Siam Center! They are interlinked together with Siam Discovery! Mission of the day is to look for Melissa shoes (alot more cheaper than Sg!) and to buy bras!!
It's the King's birthday so there were lots of grand decorations around.
Christmas was around the corner at that time too!
A common sight to have a poster of the King being put up outside shopping malls. They really respect their King!
Inside of Siam Paragon, which is really just like the Paragon in Sg! Luxury boutiques everywhere!
For them to put up their wishes to the King! Saw a lot of Thais wearing yellow on that day!
We went to Greyhound Cafe located in Siam Center for lunch!
Complimentary bun & butter
Lobster bisque which is the bomb!
Fried chicken wings which many reviews commented that it's a must try. But we thought it was fairly average.
Scored a few good bras at Siam Center! Wacoal and Triumph are super cheap there! I got a Wacoal bra for $20 odd and 3 Triumph ones for $80 odd total! Where to get this kind of price! I can only get 1 pitiful bra with this kind of price in Sg! Regretted not buying more back!
Anyway, we went to Erawan Shrine thereafter to pray to the 4 faced buddha!
It's fairly near CentralWorld so we went there to take a look. Checked out the Melissa outlet, which are called Jelly Dreams, but they did not have my size of the design I want! No fate!
Feeling kinda sad we did not check out their supermart there.
At night, we went back to Platinum Mall again! Bought waffles to munch on and bubble tea from Mr Shake!
Back to the hotel to put our stuffs and rest our legs before we headed out to meet Dearie's friend for dinner together.
Random photo while we were waiting for them at the hotel lobby. Yes we stayed at the same hotel! Different levels though.
Went to Somboon Seafood Restaurant for dinner!
Famous fried curry crab!
Yummy Tom Yum Goong!!
Total bill cost about less than $20 per person if I remember right. Definitely very cheap considering the amount of seafood we had! It's worth a revisit with the family if we were to go Bangkok again.
Cabbed to Saphan Phut Night Market for some shopping and caught in a really long jam at Chinatown! Couldn't take it in the end and we walked to the night market since it's really near. Tipped the uncle as well. Felt really bad since we sorta brought him to the jam, hence the tip. The uncle was really nice and understanding though.
Only photo I took at the night market cause we were busy shopping even though I did not get anything. Dearie scored a pair of shoes and some berms! He was so happy the whole night cause I did not get a thing and he bought quite a few.
He bought a super huge grilled squid here! Look at that squid!!
Okay off to bed gosh it's almost 1am!
