September!

Cannot believe we are into the last 1/3 of the year already! And a week of September had already gone by. Time is passing so fast for me to barely catch up :/

Anyway, September is one of my favourite month apart from October (my birthday month) as it is our anniversary month! Hehe! Totally looking forward to our yearly affair every year :*)

However, this last 1/3 of the year always managed to burn a hole in Dearie's pocket cause it's when all the birthdays, celebrations and Christmas come by all at one go. I guess he always had a love/hate relationship when this time comes around. ;)

To kickstart September, we went to feast out on steamboat!! Its been awhile since we last had one! Photos while waiting for CL to arrive and the soup base to boil.

I think I found my favourite steamboat place at Liang Seah Street - Zhong Hua Steamboat! Loads of variety be it raw or cooked. Total yums! And they have loads of soup bases to choose from!

First round of foodd!

They have my favourite Shabu Shabu meat whee!

Ginseng chicken and Laksa. Apart from these two, they still have Satay, Kimchi and Tomyum!

We were there for around 2 hours of feasting and catching up before we surrendered with happy bellies. And the buffet only cost $19.90++ on a weekday! Really worth it I think! :)

Thereafter, we headed to Tom's Palette for ice cream fix with our bursting bellies! We had Yuzu and Rum 'n' Raisin! The Yuzu was refreshing but the rum tasted pretty strong for me. :(

And after a half day's work and running errands yesterday, I suggested heading to Chye Seng Huat Hardware for some coffee and just people watch, and that got the boy nodding his head off! Such a fan of coffee him! ;)

We ordered Latte, Apple and Pear with Oat Crumble muffin to share since we just had lunch. And it cost only $9! Fairly reasonable we feel!

Need to return for their brunch menu someday hehe. ;)

Such quality time spent together with you gets more precious ever since your school term started, and it is always heartwarming to see you finding time to head somewhere with me, even if it's for a few hours :) Cant wait to see you graduate end of next year B! :D
