Backtracking to August, I completed Korean Basic Level 1 with my friends at work, after 10 lessons!
It is always fun, enriching each time and the classroom is always filled with laugher! It feels wonderful learning a new language at such a fun and light-hearted environment. Although it can be kinda stress when the teacher ask us to pronounce/articulate/hold conversations in Korean one by one. :x
So on our 10th and last lesson of Level 1, our teacher decided to hold a party! And she told us to each bring some food, it's like potluck!
And look what we have got here! Cakes, pastries, small bites and the likes.
Cakes from Au Chocolat which was awesome! They were so yummy!!
And chocolates too!
But most popular of all has got to be this Tteokbokki which my teacher handmade from home! It was chewy and I like the spicy kick to it! Very shiok! It got wiped out within minutes!!
And it was photo time! Okay pardon the act cute pose cause somehow Korean likes to pose like this? Definitely not my kind of pose. So sorry if i made you puke. :/ Missing Grace here!
And class photo! Love this bunch of new friends I made! All very nice people!! :D
Kiyomi style again. LOL.
We made her a scrapbook too! Which she was too touched for words when she received it. Hehe.
And I am currently continuing Level 2! I am not sure whether I will continue to complete Basic cause it has 4 levels in total. So I shall see where this takes me. ;)
