Day 4, we decided to go slow exploring the New Taipei City! So yea, we stayed in the city most of the time and went to places which are easily accessible!
Found this breakfast shop that everyone is raving online! So glad we got to try. But it was rather okay in my opinion though. Like the floss crepe best! The you tiao was totally meh that I dont even want to put it in the collage. :(
Headed to CKS Memorial Hall after breakfast! I realised Taipei mrt stations are really cool! They decor it according to the various tourist attractions they have there! It's always a mini discovery when alighting at the platform. ;)
We reached after a short walk to the Memorial Hall!
It's all this majestic looking architectures that is worth going to. :D

We missed the changing of guards ceremony by a few minutes! Although they changed every hour, but we left with no time to spare cos of our lunch reservation. :(
Lunch at Mr J! Another theme restaurant designed after the movie, 不能说的秘密. We were hoping to see Jay Chou but nope, not a lucky day. Heh!
Everything is so classic! Tall glass panes, cushiony seats and classic cutlery.
My spicy chicken penne and Dearie's squid ink pasta which totally stained his lips and tongue afterwards. So brave of him. ;))
Our starters and desserts. Heeh! Totally worth it! The meal cost like $15? And the pasta portion is super huge! Like like, 1.5x of normal pastamania portion? And we finished it cos it's that good! So bloated after that! :/

Headed down to Xi Men Ding again to tour the place! And we had early dinner like 5? LOL!

Okay, we concluded 9/10 food places in tw are super good! Why like that? :(
We had this super nice Ah Gei, big ball filled with Tang Hoon inside! And its so good together with the gravy! I remembered there are a few flavours to choose from and we got the original. LOL!
Den we headed down to get food for our family, friends and colleagues back home! We were braving through rain when we went to find the place. But it was worth it cos the melon and pineapple cakes are so nice!
Dumped our heavy bags at the hotel, and off we went to Taipei 101!
Our tickets to the observatory! It was drizzling earlier that day so they did not opened up the 91st floor of outdoor observatory deck so we could only make do with the indoor one at 88th floor. Heh!

It took us 37sec to reach 88th floor! And we never feel it, the lift is so stable like that! Just that blocked feeling in your ear. Heh!
