Taiwan Day 3 :D // 阳明山, 淡水老街, 渔人码头, 情人桥, 士林夜市 //

Here comes day 3!

All ready for the day!

Took a bus outside Taipei Main Station and we are headed to 阳明山!It's an hour journey but so thankful it wasn't that bad! Kudos to the comfy coach seats they have! And they cost about the same price as taking a bus in Sg, or maybe cheaper!

Reached our destination! There's more than 10 spots for us to explore but we were really running out of time, so we selectively chose some that we were interested!

Wanted to venture 二子坪 but we detour-ed when we saw the yellow signboard! Not very brave there. Heh!

We wanted to go 竹子湖 to see the water lilies but unfortunately we missed the season! :(

So we headed to sulfur spring next! The air really reeks of sulphur! Cant really take in deep breaths or go too near. Heh! But the sight was cool! It was a post volcanic site and alot of people go there for their wedding shoots!

More pictures ahead!

Next was 擎天岗!We walked really high up to get a bird's eye view of the place!

So close to the fluffy clouds! I love the blue against the green! So peaceful so natural!

The heart there was to block a couple doing their thangs. LOL!

We took the bus back to 士林 and transferred a train up to 北投 thereafter!

Free admission into the hot spring museum! No hot springs for us so there was really nothing much to do there. The museum tour was a little boring.. But their library was really nice (Top left)!

To 淡水!

How can we resist a cup of bubble tea!! Heheh!

Took a boat to fisherman's wharf! So much faster than taking a bus! In a different form of transportation as well! ;)

Reached in 10 mins or so! The 情人桥!

If only the bridge gets lighten up at night, it will be even prettier! I guess they were probably on maintenance that night. :(

Back to shilin nightmarket afterwards to grab some food!! Our throats started to hurt abit due to the fried stuff so we bought like 2 cups of honey bittergourd drink. It's not bitter at all! And it really helps in driving sore throats away effectively! Our must drink! LOL!

We eat like 10 meals a day when we were there I think. Haha!

The cheese potato is super yummy la!! We had one on the spot. And we got one back to the hotel.!

Their or jian is so different! With tomato ketchup and so starchy! I guess taiwanese are not a fan of chilli and spice. ;)

3 more long days to go! Yes I'm half way there alrdy! :D

TGIF tmr!!! Although its sorta a 7 day work week for me. :( Nonetheless can't wait to meet Dearie! ^^
