Last of 2014 & First of 2015

Sharing some random stuff from last few days of 2014 and first few moments of 2015!

Tsukada Nojo located in PS is one restaurant we always had difficult dining in cause the queue is forever long! They are well known for their collagen pot aka, 美人锅. So finally, we got a chance to try it on one of the days!

At $25 each, these are the standard ingredients that comes together. It might not look much but it really fills the tummy!

After everything was added in, it was one entire pot of goodness! Refill of chicken broth is free for 1st refill and chargeable for subsequent refills! But towards the end of our 1st refill, we already felt kinda thirsty and dehydrated, not sure if it's because of the MSG content in the soup? Cause we still felt the lack of water until the following day!

On New Year Eve where we only worked half day! It's been awhile since we had brunch so we decided to head to Wild Honey!

My Tunisian Breakfast! A sizzling pan of spicy shakshouka (tomato, onion, red pepper, chilli), studded with Chorizo sausage, crowned with two fried eggs, signature brioche & Israeli salad. Quite like this dish cause it's different from the usual breakfast menu and it really goes very well with the brioche!

Dearie had the Canadian! Classic stack of three old fashioned pancakes served with Canadian back bacon, wild forest berry compote & imported Canadian maple syrup.

That night, headed to Bedok 85 for a feast while counting down the New Year!

It was rather shiok to feast out once in awhile! 

And I got a thank you card from baby! For staying by his side all this while. LOL. Sometimes I really marvel at how he chose photos to put on cards LOL.

We also headed down to check out our flat's progress! It's building super fast and on its 17th floor the last we went on Dec 2014!

Let me share with you my favouritest korean food stall till date! Kim dae Mun Korean food! Cheap and huge serving. With loads of kimchi!!! Me love! YUMS!

Took time off work last Friday to meet loverboy cos he knocked off earlier! As it was time for tea, we dropped by Wild Honey at Scotts Square!

Read lots of reviews about the outlet at Mandarin Gallery that serves lousy service and yet charges for it, so we actually hesitated patronising for quite awhile until this new outlet opens!

Told him his fats were showing after the above shot and he immediately sat upright for a proper one. HAHA!

Food came!!

We ordered English Breakfast to share since we were still kinda full from lunch. But that's really good to fill our itchy mouths. With great service as well! Probably cause there was not much of a crowd too. :)

Why do instragram filters always make food looks so good and me like a professional photographer. LOL.

Hmm that's about it. Definitely will go back to the outlet at Scotts Square in future. Wont wanna risk it with Mandarin Gallery. Hehe!

Saturday was movie marathon day - The Amazing Spiderman & The Dark Knight Rises! An event organised by coy. Save quite alot of moolahs. Hehe!

What a tiring marathon it was. So tired even though there was a break in between the movies. I even drifted off awhile during the front part of the Dark Knight. :/

Us coincidentally in white! Heheh! Woolala! My choker goes so well with the skirt. LOL! Buay paiseh. Heh.

Supper that night! Mushroom potato filled baguette in bite size pieces! Yummy! Need to get this again soon!

And all 3 of us rushed down to get ice cream on Sunday! It's so rare to see ice cream carts around nowadays. Cheap and good! Reminds me of my childhood where I will always rush down to get one of those whenever I hear the bell ringing. ;)

Yesh it's mid week tmr!! Hang in there everybardy. Fighting! Korean style. LOL!
