Finally sorted out photos from the recent Japan trip so I shall aim to post them up while the memories are still fresh in my head hehe.
Our flight was at 9am so we reached the airport around 7am that day? I don't sleep well in flights so I definitely learnt my lessons from previous overnight flights as I always ended up being so tired in the beginning of the trip.
Of course we had to have our local traditional breakfast before flying! Pardon bloated and just wake up face haha.
Anyway we thought we were early so we went store browsing until we saw the flight panel that our flight was on the LAST CALL and we practically ran for our lives till the gate. Holy it was such a horrible run cause I cant do sprints and our gate was all the way at the end! Thank god we did not miss our flight phew. Another close shave but we should definitely learn to be less complacent and go to the gate earlier in future!
We reached Haneda Airport around 4pm Japan time (3pm SG time) after a 6h30mins flight and board the tokyo monorail to tokyo city which took us approx 30 mins travelling time. And it was a short 4 min walk to our hotel from the nearest train station.

And please look at our tiny room. It is currently the tinest room we ever slept in haha. Everything can be seen in a glance seriously.
Here's my view from our bed. 2 open luggages and we barely have enough space to walk. It's really just a tiny path haha. The bedroom slippers leads to the bathroom/toilet haha. Well at least they have everything we need.
And we only have a few pathetic hangers on a hook for us to hang our clothes and jackets haha
And that's our bed! The pillow is too stiff and flat for my liking so I suffered stiff necks for 6 nights :/
After settling down in our hotel, we headed out to Shinjuku for the first order of business! Which was dinner!
Dinner at the infamous Ichiran Ramen! I have waited super duper long to have a taste of this and it's salty but yummy. We had to wait awhile but the wait was worth it.
We had to order through a vending machine and wait for our order ticket to be dispensed from it. Thank god for English language in a foreign country.
Our order tickets!
Then, we were given the order sheet to customise how we want our ramen to be!
We got seated in our individual booths and it's quite cool to eat alone and just enjoying the ramen.
Mine! The "recommended" option
Dearie's very plain looking ramen haha
The broth is so yummy that dearie finished almost all of it haha
After dinner, we explored Shinjuku and just took in the neon lights. It was super crowded as it's Golden Week and everybody is on holiday :O
The weather was really awesome at 16 degrees so a light jacket is enough to keep me warm, apart from when the wind is blasting haha. And of course with my super seasoned pair of sneakers cause a good pair of walking shoes is important yo!
Pardon slit eyes cause the wind was making me having difficulty in opening them haha
First wefie of the trip!
We finally had Gindaco! The octopus is so much bigger and the dough crispier!
Then, we called it an early night cause we are going to Tokyo Disneysea the following day!
