Finally penning down our gowns/suits selection for prewedding shoot!
On the eve of Valentine's day, we spent close to 5 hours in the studio cause I took 4 hours changing in and out of gowns before finally choosing 2 white and 2 coloured gowns for the shoot.
I really admire my stamina then, but looking back at it now, it was a fun albeit tiring process!
Compiled all the gowns I tried on for memory sake hehe. And all my epic expressions in its glory lol.
I really like this kinda gown cos of the details on the train. Will definitely choose this if i'm more busty lol
Shortlisted this gown immediately after trying it on cause I really love the mermaid cut with ruffles at the bottom!
Still prefer the above gown best!
Tried on this newer ballgown and I really love the corset back details! If only the front looks half as flattering on me.
Satin ball gowns which is so not me haha. It's too classy and simple for me. Din really fancy the neckline too.
Another gown with lots of ruffles! It looks real messy in real life though. :x
Another mermaid gown which I had difficulty zipping up when we first visited but was able to zip it up on that day! Is it i lose weight?! I really like the mesh details but my sensitive skin turned red just from trying it on. :(
I really wanted a off shoulder gown but all this cutting does not suit me! :( I look super flat with skinny chest :/
A line gown! I look super straight and no figure rahhh.
At this point, I grew sick of looking at white gowns so my coordinator suggested trying out coloured gowns for a change lol.
This gown is really pretty! Like cinderella! A pity I did not look good in it with my narrow shoulders and small chest boo.
Another off shoulder gown which failed on me. Heart breaks...
This gown really cannot sia. Why the ruffles like so flat and heavy mm.
I shortlisted this gown too! Cause I really love the colour and how I look in it! And it was super comfortable! The design seems abit too common though.
Another newer gown with off shoulder cutting. I love the tulle design but why the sleeves so drapey.:(
I shortlisted this gown cause of its unique rose design! But the train lk not long enough lol. Maybe can consider for AD so it will be easier for me to walk around for table shots haha.
Don't think I suit toga design too.
Such a colourful gown! It's really dull in real life but I have seen how they edited it in photos and the colour really pops! Wanted to shortlist it but both bff and bf say no so back to the rack it is..
Another A line gown again!
I like the simple layers on this! Shortlisted the red gown immediately!
And I found this gown after browsing through the racks for the 2nd time. I really love the bling corset with its tulle bottom!
I quite fancy this too with its floral motifs imprinted on the gown!
I love the lace details on the train for this one!
Another mermaid gown which both the bff and bf gave their nod of approval. But I felt strangely odd and uncomfortable in this so I removed it from my selected gowns in the end. Lesson learnt is to listen to my heart and don't succumb to pressure cause I'm the one wearing so I must love the gown I'm wearing!
Bff chose this gown for me to try on and I thought it was too sweet for me but it turns out quite nice wor. And i love the butterfly details haha
This is way too meh on me. Haha.
That's the end of my gown selection process! Finally it's the boy's turn to try the suits and matching them with my gowns! He only took 20 mins lol. So efficient!
Why is it so easy to see which looks better on him at first look haha.
