Another item checked off the wedding checklist! Hehe!
We went to a private jeweller to customise our wedding bands a month ago. I have always love rose gold bands so I know I definitely want some rose gold in my band yo. Haha. The boy is not really keen on rose gold so at first I thought we were gonna have mismatched bands which were okay for me cause what's more important is he must love his band right?
I also wanted something which can complement with my engagement ring but yet will not look too plain on its own. So the SA suggested half eternity band for me with a rose gold border. The boy also ended up getting a design with a rose gold border. Thankfully, he quite like his ring too!
So our ring will look something like this! We can't wait to collect the real deal in 2 months time!! So exciting!
The SA also very kindly taught me how to polish my engagement ring to maintain its sparkle and its really very easy! Just need to mix some mama lemon soap with water, and use a baby toothbrush to brush from its stem to the top. And it will be as good as new! Really sparkles like crazy so I couldn't resist a shot. The boy say it's finally looking like a proper solitaire ring lol.
