So it's been awhile since I last updated but that's because I was so busy sorting out wedding stuff. And I can finally take a breather because we have settled on our Actual Day Wedding Photographer and Videographer.!
I feel this is so much more tough than settling on the wedding venue. I had to plow through 20-30 profiles of photographers and videographers, email them for quotations, see through their works before finally shortlisting a few. And because I have zero sense in this, I had to let the Dearie shortlist a 2nd time after my first round of shortlisting. LOL.
It was a pity the lead PG was booked on the same day we wanted him (damn, and I thought I was early), but we really hope the PG we booked will do a good job of taking those stills for us! Maybe we will come out with a list of must have photos when nearer to the wedding date. Haha.
We even met up with the PG and VG individually just to ensure that there are some rapport between us so we won't feel so awkward on that day. The meetup was really beneficial as the discussion really got us thinking of the tiny details of the AD schedule and how things will be done. They gave really wise advises as well.
Since we had good impressions of them, we decided to just signed with them despite not checking out any other vendors.
So I guess this is how a leap of faith feels like. Hope it will be worth it!
And that's another item off the list! I guess I can take a break now and just wait for the day of gown selection to arrive? Hehe.
