Finally blogging about IRAS Family Day that took place more than a month ago oops. Super backlogged. But better late than never. Need to quickly clear my drafted entries! Hehe!
Reached the zoo at ard 9am that day and we witnessed our very own dance group doing the opening!
We were then dispersed to roam around before going back during midday for the lucky draw! So we decided to explore the zoo first! I always feel I never really tour the zoo completely for some reason. Guess I just got tired/distracted along the way on my past few visits. Hmm..
Couple selfie first since we still looked quite fresh! And before we start to sweat and look unglam. Heh.
My selfie of the day hehe. Yay to sunlight!
Beware lots of animal photos ahead!
Are they mating? O.O
Emo chimpanzee haha
Ohai Mr Cheetah!
Savouring ice creams while waiting for lucky draw results!
Then we headed to River Safari next cause we booked the river ride at 1.45pm! Super long walk from the zoo to the river ride! Thank god we made it in time!
River ride here we gooo
One of the animals we saw during the ride. Actually, I felt the ride was a big disappointment cause it last only for approx 5-7 mins? And it was going rather fast that it gets quite difficult to see both left and right sides of the animals on display :( And there's not much to be seen actually :/
So then we went to see Pandas! The place looked relatively similar to the panda exhibit area in HK Ocean Park!
But I find our red panda cuter! I mean, look at this!!
Okay another one. TOO CUTEEE! FEEL LIKE KIDNAPPING IT HOME!! And it's just staying in this pose while all the visitors continue snapping at it! I guess it's enjoying all the fame it can get haha! Super cooperative Red Panda here!
I guess Kai Kai is really tired/lazy. That's our best shot. And no photos of Jia Jia cause she is too shy so we can only see her through the CCTV!
Okay I think enough of animal photos, spammage of our photos now haha!
It was such a fun outing despite us getting sweaty and burnt. I'm glad the boy is always such a good sport to go everywhere I suggested. Hehe.
River Safari was smaller in comparison but I think it's still worth a go just to see the pandas! Hehe! And go to their Panda Restaurant to have their Panda bao. Looks very cute and good on Instagram. We bought them too but the photos are not with me :(
Okay gonna blog about CNY next! And Valentine's Day! And the Airshow that we just went today! :D:D
