Hong Kong Day 1 saw us arriving at Changi Airport at 4am in the morning! *inserts sleepy but excited faces* This trip felt like it took so long to come but it was actually quite short after my Beijing trip heh.
We flew with Jetstar again and the tickets only cost us $390/pax! Score!
My travel companions this trip! With dearie's family and cousin!
And my favourite travel companion goes to him! :D
In the plane preparing for takeoff!
And we reached Hong Kong International Airport after 3 and a half hours! En route to Kowloon in the Airport Express train! It was close to SGD10. Not cheap ah.
Set foot to Kowloon area!
Check in time was 2pm but we were early so we had lunch here after dropping our luggage at the hotel's concierge.
First taste of Hong Kong food!
Yummy condensed milk bun!!
Ice milk tea is DA BOMBZ!
We booked our stay with Park Hotel as it was near Tsim Sha Tsui's area and it was super centralised and convenient for us! Hotels in Hk are known to be small and expensive but we are quite happy that the hotel room is fairly spacious and comfy for the price we paid! We paid about $600/pax for a week's stay!

Love this bit of customised service! (:
And tada! Our humble abode for the next 7 days! Totally loving the room and everything it comes with.
Huge bathroom/toilet I can only say. Besides the bath tub which we did not get a chance to use (sadly), there is a shower area behind the door (which doesnt comes with in the other room that we booked) whee! Prefer the shower area anytime!
Embarking our first day adventure after dumping our stuffs!
Touristy shots at train station.
First stop to Wong Tai Sin Temple to pray for safety during the trip (:
Statues of the 12 chinese zodiacs
Yes, dragons!
We got up to The Peak next! Booked our tickets online for the 2 way journey via peak tram and entrance to Sky Terrace and Madame Tussauds.
Tram's here!
Views that greeted us on our way up.
Hello favourite boy :D
Had early dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company!
We got a table by the window so we had our dinner with this view all the while. Lovely!
Pretty wallpapers me like!
Look at our drinks! In a flickering cup! We brought it home after consumption :D
Ordered 2 mains and a platter to share!
Frankie Baked Seafood & Rice (Rice with shrimp, calamari, fish, spinach baked in a cream sauce, topped with Jack & Cheddar sauce & steamed clams and mussels)
Super yummy! Love the creamy consistency.
This is also very nice!
Fish in lobster sauce!
And Forrest's Seafood Feast (southern fried shrimp, seafood hush paps, fish & chips, coleslaw, - tartar, cocktail and remoulade sauce as dips!)
Happy diners! We really like the food, service and ambience albeit the price being slightly above average! Missing everything about it now!
Went up to the Peak thereafter!
Poor boy got ulcer on his upper lip and hence could not smile much :/
Writing on ours and tying it there :*)
Breathtaking night view
And to Madame Tussauds shortly after.
