Everybody is doing their reflections of the past year so I thought I should come up with a really quick one myself, just to pen down some thoughts here.
2012 has been a year full of ups and downs, more ups really.
It has been a peaceful year and I cannot be more thankful and felt blessed. As I look back on the past year, I have reached several milestones myself, and of course my relationship with Dearie too.
January to April - always the peak period of my job, but I'm glad and grateful to be able to meet my daily KPIs and involve myself in other projects, challenging myself to my own limits.
May - a much excited month as it was our first overseas trip together! Overseas as in taking a plane! Went to Taiwan for a start and had truckloads of fun!! We already drafted a series of places we wish to visit for this year and the next alrdy! Whoop whoop can't wait! :D

June - Getting a higher performance grade compared to the last during my year end work review appraisal with my bosses. It's all the recognition that matters and it made me feel that my efforts is all well, paid off.
Sept - Officially converted to a permanent staff in the company, after a whooping 3 years of contract staff. Got a lump sum and is finally able to repay my poly fees to my dad, and being debt free. Dearie and I also decided that we are finally ready to apply for a BTO flat.
Oct - Got a really good queue number for the flat and felt that we were extremely lucky nonetheless as there's not much first timers we know of who are able to get a good number.

Dec - Finally owners of a flat! Chose our unit choices wisely and we are pleased to get our first choice of unit that we wanted. And I have also braced myself to get a driving license - have alrdy booked for the basic theory test.
There! I have done it! My relatively short reflection of the past year. I am certainly proud of my achivements, be it alone or with my other half. And it is certainly not a wasted year. ;)
This year, my resolutions are gonna be simple.
1. To cherish and treasure my loved ones around me. Be healthy, happy for myself, and for them. As I slowly grow up year by year, it means my folks are indeed ageing by the day. I told myself to go back home for dinner as frequently as I can, and to spend more time talking and sharing my thoughts with them while I still can.
2. Maintain my performance grade at work.
3. To save $10k. It is difficult, but certainly do-able.
4. Get my driving license. I certainly hope I will with dearie's coaching/tips!
That's all!
XOXO,
Mei Li
