Rollin Good Times '12

Dinner and Dance this year was held at Resorts World Sentosa Convention Centre! It's my 2nd time attending my company's dnd and we managed to get a full table to ourselves cause of our super huge kampung! Yea we call ourselves the Kampung Kakis. 

Anyway, the theme was Rollin Good Times, where we are supposed to dress up as our favourite music icons from the 60s till now.. So the list is really never ending; from Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe to Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, to the super hot like pancakes KPOP groups now like Girls Generation and Super Junior etc.

Oh! We also booked a family suite for ourselves at Festive Hotel cos of the Corporate Discount that RWS extended to us. Hehe.

Some of us checked in from 3pm onwards and start prepping for the night's wear.

Speaking of Marine Life Park, I heard its mega super gigantic huge size. It literally puts the Underwater World to shame. Definitely going there and have a look someday!

The comfy bed! I always have a thing for white linens and fluffy pillows. Hee.

And the small loft for 'kids'. We tested and proven that adults of 1.7m can stretch fully in it too, without it crumpling down. Heh.

Dress as bodyguards

Before we know it, it's close to 7am and all of us scurried down to the Convention Centre! Totally lost ourselves there cause MOE, SGH are also holding their DnD around that area.

We took pictures outside the ballroom as there is still some spare time for the dinner to start proper.

We only got time to take photos with one of the OPPA individually though.

Nice and tall ceilings. Heh.

Our door gift, which is a mini USB portable speaker/radio that comes in either blue/pink. The quality was kinda meh though. :(

Notice my super thick and hiao eyeliner that da jie drew for me, got tail somemore. LOL. I have monolids so its really hard to draw!! I am still mastering the art of drawing eyeliner. :/

(Prawn Fruit Salad, Deep fried Beancurd Roll, Roasted Duck with Plum Sauce, Marinated Jelly Fish with Spring Roll, Soya Topshell in Chilli Sauce)

We sneaked out to play with props after the first dish and had alot of fun!

Traditional Braised Thick Soup with Shredded Seafood (Shredded Abalone, Black Fungus, Mushroom, Sea Cucumber, Conpoy)

2nd performance! There's a video of about 6 songs by different individual/group singers from the 60s till now. And our very own colleagues danced to those songs thereafter! Kinda cool! Dont ask me about the songs cos I never take note. :X

they formed Super Junior Wannabe. LOL.

This group of girls won Best Dressed Table! Obviously as SNSD la. They win us hands down! Heard they bought the white blazer and sew the tags on it themselves! Effort 100%! *SALUTES*

Anyway... moving on...

A group of us continued to make our way to KBOX @ Mount Faber SAFRA since we had complimentary RWS carpark passes so travelling in and out is no issue! It was quite an impromptu decision and we booked a room from 11pm - 3pm! Kinda shiok! Hehe.

Im wearing OPPA 8 (Mr Ryan's) blazer cos I forget to bring my cardigan and was in shorts. Looks okay on me right. OPPA is so slim like that. Lol.

Glow in the Dark Neon Nails! Fluro Pink!

The Golden Couple, we called them.

We went back to our room at 4am in the morning after grabbing drinks from Macs @ Harbourfront Centre on the way. Continued playing Asshole Dai Di till 6am in the morning and we KO-ed till 12pm the next day, which is our check out timing. Opps.

What a night manz.!! I feel like I was 16 all over again with the ton-ing and all. Haha!

The next day! Sleepy faces at Royals Cafe @ Siglap Road! For our brunches!
